Have you ever dreamt of having that very romantic relationship? Oh Yeah, The novel type of guy with blue eyes, six packs, handsome face, body built but to mention a few; oh I have been there. The one that opens the door and closes it after you; I so relate with that. The one that draws the chair out for you to seat down; I know right. Well sweetheart snap out of that fairy tale imagination and come back to reality, oh no don’t get it twisted there could be but then do you know the character or attitude behind those handsome and beautiful physique?
I always love to say this, even if all your friends are in a relationship do not be pressured to jump into one just to feel among. You should wait and know that when your mind is ready, that relationship would be the sweetest experience you ever have. Also note this, nobody can pressure you into going into a relationship and if they do you should be able to read in between the lines. However, in going into a relationship you should not only take your heart your head should also tag along because they would be working hand in hand.
From a survey conducted, I discovered that those abusive guys make you feel worthless, they make you feel emotionally dependent on them, they make you turn your back against friends and families, they make you feel less of yourself, there are always lies behind their truth, they make you afraid to speak out, they feel like a god in your life. So it`s high time you began to read the signs; before you go into any relationship there are signs oh yes there are, so it is left to you to figure out it is positive or negative. Except you decide to turn a blind eye to them.

Research has shown that the rate of abuse in relationships is becoming alarming. The rate of abuse ranges from emotional abuse, physical abuse, mental abuse but to mention a few. I often ask girls describe your dream guy and they would say tall, dark, handsome and loaded. Really! It time we begin to put square pegs into square holes.
Have you all forgotten so soon that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. It is high time you stand up and confront that abusive guy who thinks he is doing you a favour for being with you. There are other guys out there that are praying and fasting just to be with you and show you the love that you deserve.
It is very sad when I see some people in a relationship, they look like people who are suffering from a terminal disease. This is usually as a result of the mental abuse, don’t get it twisted in the physical abuse you could see the injuries and scares which can be a proof that you have been abused; which is also very wrong. But in the mental or emotional abuse there would be wounds no one would see and scares that might never be formed because the injury is deeper than you can imagine.
Some people the little confidence they have managed to build up for themselves would be broken and they would begin to wallow in low self-esteem. Some would be scared to go into another relationship because of the things that they think they are. Some begin to hate guys because of their past experiences.

C’mon there are guys out there that would love adore and would walk a thousand miles just to be with you. Don’t try to change who you are to please anybody because someone out there might just be looking for someone just like you. The truth is, no one is perfect but everyone is working towards perfection. The truth they say is bitter but when you come to know and embrace it becomes sweet. There is a queen in you, you are a precious jewel and no one can make you feel worthless except you allow yourself to. Love yourself; say No to Abuse and make the world a better place.
